The build looks great so far! I am going to second kp aquatics for live rock. I recently received an order and it was teaming with life. I definitely suggest a high salinity dip to get the unwanted critters out but as for the rock it's very light and porous with many holes and pass-throughs in...
I know your absolutely right. It's one of those moments when I'm looking at where my tank is today and I question what if I just keep this one the way it is and don't risk it. But I know the upgrade will be so worth it.
Not much has changed since my last update. The t5s came in and I purchased about 15lbs of live rock from kp aquatics for the build that's currently curing. I'll probably grab another 20lbs of live rock as well to add to the 15 I have already. That should suffice for a nice aquascape with my...
@Yates273 was too generous with gifting me some pandora zoas recently so I have 2 frags circled in yellow ready for free to new homes. Pickup only brick 08723

I'm sure I won't get everything out but I'll do my best. I know I showed alot of pests which probably scares alot of people but that's nothing compared to the good stuff I've found. There's so many sponges, feather dusters even large ones, what looks like a bunch of coral on a few pieces...
I think I'm covered on rock for the new tank. Sorry to hear your son is getting out of the hobby. I had to leave for a few years but I couldn't wait to get back into it.
Pending pickup. They have the white ring so they're bobbit worms. There is an oddball which is lighter in color so that may be a medusa or something else I'm not really sure.
I never had issues with my silver belly but he ended up getting hurt and passing before growing too large. His behavior was near identical to my yellow coris. The coris may scavenge the sand a bit better but that's it. Both are Halichoeres
