    I’ve never seen salt water fish in a PetSmart. I was just in the Petco in Brick and they had a nice selection of fish. I’m wondering what’s going on at ACC. I think the Petco had more fish than ACC. I’d go up to AO from were your at.

    What to do?

    I found the pencil urchins clean up hair algae. I'd clean up the sump by using a power head (maxi jet) or the like as a vacuum and not stir it up and try to keep it clean.Use a good filter sock or bonded filter pads (the blue or pink) you buy in rolls and it should help keep it clean.

    I'm a fan of the Autotopoff.com float switch also. Been using one for over 10 years. I just put one in a waterbox AIO and it's working great.

    I think you can do this if you want right now. I don't think this is a good idea.People selling high $ stuff will go some were else to sell. Maybe there should be two for sale forums. The one we now have and set up one for members only.

    For all you old guys

    I just put the ATO pump in the bucket of new water and then siphon the water out of the tank. Siphon hose goes right outside the back door. Takes about 5 min. to change 10 gal.

    I've done that before. Like Eric said I'd leave some water in it. No need to drain it all. Just move it real slow.
