here it is....The drain on the left was just an elbow that I had on a very slight angle and that was wide open, the middle drain was for emergency and the drain on the right was just a stand pipe and I would control the flow with the gate valve.

mike can you post a picture of the overflow? I will look for the picture I have of how I had mine set up and it was dead silent.

Movers loaded and packed everything end of last week. We are staying in town until the end of the week and then we will make the drive south on Friday and then fun really begins.

I'm glad things worked out Mike and you got the tank. When I first set tank up I had 300lbs of pukani rock and it was just too crowded. When I switched rocks I went with 150 in the display and another 100 in a remote tank just for rock. I've seen a lot of successful tanks that don't follow...

No kidding....Ive doing some research and seems that the next closest shop is about 100 miles away.

I have used both on my 315g and after switching to the caribsea I can say that I liked the way the caribsea looked better. As far as sand storms go, there are too many variables from one tank to the next. Tank A could be fine but Tank B could one big storm depending on flow, power heads, rock...
