    So today I grabbed 5 gallons of ocean water from ... the ocean. For the pony tank (a million thanks to Paulie). I found a couple of “macroalgae frags” along the way, washing up on the shore. Anyone know what they are? And are the ok for a pony tank?

    Hope so too... watch him though with the inverts. I know your crabs are huge but from what I recall boxfish eat like puffers and basically eat any crustaceans that fit in their mouths.

    Whenever I have a seahorse question I ask you lol It seems like moving a few over will be a good way to tell. I have read not to put hermits with them but that might be out of an over abundance of caution. What happened to the boxfish?

    If it’s a yellow boxfish or spotted boxfish it is also a crustacean predator so probably not safe for an inverts tank either

    That looks like a tiny yellow boxfish to the untrained eye... he’s not with Mr. Orange Seahorse right? They can poison the whole tank if they go...
