Haven’t even thought that far ahead to be honest,, I just came across a 180 for free ,, I haven’t even seen it yet but know it’s good just from the person giving it to me 72x24x30 and I have a Red Sea sump that was used on a 120 gallon tank, but I don’t know how many gallons it actually is

I will be following this as I’m planning a 180gal build and any plumbing info is great I hope you have success with your build, much luck

I agree so much with how you feel about tank care Some good lights some ocean water and food,,, after that let Mother Nature do her thing,, I break all rules (not on purpose) and have decent outcome Don’t make fun of my plastic chain my ponies like it

Drill hole on top for wire to pump or air stone and a spicket on bottom to empty into buckets or whatever

Was lucky enough to get 2 55gal drums with locking lids,, well I used one to put 50gal of nice Ocean water in it drilled hole in top and out power pump in there to keep water oxygenated and moving. All I need to do is tap a Spicket on th bottom to get water out. It saves me so much room instead...
