Anybody have a yellow tang they're looking to get rid of? been interested in getting one for a while. one thats been QTd of course would be awesome, but I have the means to QT myself just in case.
Would also take any of the smaller tangs (Pbrown, Pblue, Tomini, Kole, etc)
Thanks
Tanks all moved. only thing left to setup is the ATO. fish went in last night after 4 days in a temporary 20L with some LR.
I lost my favorite Pbrown tang in the move :( everybody else including coral made it.
need to rinse out the buckets & bottles & then ill be returning them next mon/tuesday :)
Im not married & have no children so I wouldn't know. all the married guys could answer that one better. when the wife says that's it, she probably means it ;)
yep, I hate walking into a LFS & feeling like im bothering them if I need something. not looking to be followed around like a shadow, but a greeting or an occasional "can I help you with anything" goes a long way!
buy a non RR & build an external overflow on the short end? glass holes? I don't know if standard 120s can be drilled or if they normally come tempered. but if not tempered, why not just buy & setup how you want?
also, im with Paul.. go 180 & never upgrade again :)
Thanks to all who have replied for the advice & the offers. I PMed a couple of you & if I can coordinate those pickups then i will have plenty of water to move :)
Hey Guys,
So I'm moving next weekend about 20 miles.
I cant setup a tank & water ahead of time. so I'm trying to move as much water as I can with me(plenty of room in the truck for 10-20 buckets).
I'm looking for buckets with lids that you guys can lend for a day or two. if in central jersey...
If you part it out, Ill take the yellow tang & mandarin off your hands. Sorry to see this happen. Keep the equipment & rock(that doesn't have attached corals) & start over when you have time
I run a Mag18 on my 90. I have it split off to run all my reactors as well so i don't need extra pumps to run the biopellets, carbon, & GFO. It's a little extra work dialing it in, but once you do it's set it & forget it
the price difference between the 32 & 48 isn't crazy(50$) if you're going to go photon, I'd just get the 48 in case you upgrade(which you'll want to once you setup the 75 lol)
That light is at the top of my "buy myself a present for my birthday in August" list for my 90. I've played with the smaller programmable ones & they're great. at that price for an overkill even on a 120G fixture you cannot go wrong.
