I know the costco in Brick got a bunch of 7000/9000 watt generators in today and they are selling for $700. I picked up a 5500/8250 watt from the home depot in neptune for the same price. As for gas, costco in brick continues to be my place to go. Waited in line for 15 mins today.

I just heard that parts of point boro have power. My sister in law lives on gowdy and they just got power back 10 mins ago. Hopefully Mike and Nikki will be next. Manasquan is still out and there are rumors that they will cut gas supply soon too. I am still running the borrowed generator...

DuroStar. Got it on amazon. I have left them several messages and sent numerous email today. Their customer service reps say they can sell me a new one but cant help me with the one I have and I have to wait for someone from their product support group to call me back.

We checked everything, my brother in law who is an electrical engineer came over and determined that there is absolutely no power being generated by it at all. I showed him everything that I was running and he said that I wasnt even close to over powering the generator and if I did it would have...

so far so good here as well. Lights are dimming as I type so I am expecting power to go out soon. Amazingly, satellite tv is still going strong. I would have thought that would have been gone by last night.

We drove down to the beach this morning there was flooding already three blocks in from the beach. The wind is really picking up now.
