I have to say my Tunze skimmer went into overtime and really cleaned up the tank. Filled it twice in 48 hrs. And my algae got a little boost (color darkened some), but other wise things are normal.

Don't feel bad, its my bad. I thought he was happy in the middle of the tank. I was pretty tired and crashed early and never expected him to move much over night.

Since my crazy work schedule makes it difficult to go to meetings, Saturday will be my first opportunity to meet many of the kind people behind the names. Other than some of the very local guys I haven't met many of the membership. With that said who is going Saturday...roll call!

I would get the Apex during this build. Otherwise you wont be happy when the add on make your project messy looking. Since that is the reason for the re-build in the first place.

As long as the on number is right. I thought it might be a real low number and then the stat in the heater would take care of the set temp unless it fails on and then the Apex shuts it down.

Do the big get shipped like the generator? It wont look good on top of my Crossfire...:)

My tank runs warm. Right now 81 without the heater being on, its set for 78. Max in the summer was 82.3. Basement sump and AC set at 76. Heat comes mostly from internal pump, LEDS probably a little. As cooler weather approaches I'm sure temp will drop and heater will kick on. I just want...

Apex support was able to get things running in 30 mins. Guy was super friendly and knowledgeable. Problem with the firmware getting though router. He even set up my heater in fusion and alerts to email and smart phone. Only question I have is heater on is 78 and off is 84. Does the 78 seem right?

Well that's not good to hear, I'll wait to hear from support. What a pain, I should just bought a Ranco unit for heater protection.

Contacted Apex support, hope they can figure it out. I bought the unit new from a guy, so not 100% sure Apex will support it. Is it common for the display not to power up when you can't connect the Apex to your router? I hope so, otherwise I may have more that one issue.

Andriod S4...everytime I go into my network router settings I screw up mu internet access and have to do a system restore...I try the andriod app...
