Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
If you remove them from the tank, they have a pretty good chance of going for a walk at the school or when back in the tank.
with that in mind, I do not recommend housing the anems in a small tank with power heads, filters, or heaters. They can (and will) kill themselves by walking into a power...

How did you wash the sand? Was it live sand? New live sand or sand from another tank?
it is REALLY easy to crash a tank by reusing sand ( adding old sand to a new tank).

We added a couple of Corals to the display this week, I moved our purple stylo mini colony and our rainbow pocilipora mini colony upstairs. I also brought up the gold torch and my little orange plate. So far, so good!We also added a 6" maxima clam (thanks Rich!) on Sunday.

I have had snails lay eggs on glass and rock, and mostly saw no larve developing- our wrasse enjoyed the food. However, our trochus snails spawned in 2010, in our apartment. They clouded up the whole tank, and we did a massive water change, but I still ended up with what i think are tiny, tiny...
