I'm sealing inside my stand and was wondering, if its necessary to top coat Kilz complete? I noticed that even tough it was dry it seemed tacky and picks up finger prints etc. This was between 1st and second coat.

As to overall house humidity, its not a problem. House runs dry. (gas heater, central air) The piano humidity system adds moisture through special pads. Dry conditions are bad for the wood and other materials...except strings. But too high it probably bad too. The piano will be a good 15-20 ft...
No problems with the piano humidifier, its fool proof, and its under the piano. Its the fish tank issue Im concerned about.

I think you should wait 6 months post surgery. Historically there is a depressive period post CABG. It takes a while to truly feel your old self. I'd hate to see you regret your decision. Hope you feel better.
