thanks chuck for the info!
sorry if i sound stupid but when you guys go to these locations. how are you catching them? i saw one person saying seine net 50ft. so your just throwing your net down hoping your going to catch something?
extremely interested and don't want to get disappointed going down there not properly...
I have an abundant flow water ro/di unit which was received from buying the biocube tank. I have never had a unit previously and living in apartments. I would like to verify how to set it up on the kitchen sink.
any information is HELPFUL. THANKS!!!!!
monroereef. i am extremely busy type of person. family wife and two kids, work, and soon enough college in a few weeks. then to add in the 29biocube unfortunately hard for me to drive anywhere outside of a 25-30minute vicinity.
this looks awesome. i am EXTREMELY interested in doing this before summer ends. anyone else that's interested please let me know. nj reefers collection meet?
i just bought 10lb of lace rock. it always has some awesome shapes. the question is has anyone had used this in their tanks with any positive/negative feedback?
sucks not being able to start my cycle since i'll be moving in 3 weeks. but waiting for some dry Rock live Rock, more sand and power head. Then i could get the cycle going and actually start my fish adventure in the nano.
biocube29 - 200$ (oscar from njreefers)
included: stock tank, 150w...
i was always considering doing the member thing but for up north members it wouldn't be as useful.
all vendors are down central/south. take travel time + gas prices + mileage on car(evo) = 15+% discount on buying from local store(approximately 1 mi away).
yeah i have seen those type of setups but those type of skimmers like BK etc would be WELL over the price range i would be willing to pay for a skimmer on a nano.
I'll see what the overall consensus of skimmer on the bc29 is. I haven't found a good thread with discussion of a great skimmer...
Hey,
I'm looking into the average price per bucket and best place to buy?
Reef Encounter - 119
FishTown USA - 75
so far fishtown is where I'm going to pick up my first batch but if anyone else has suggestions feel free to comment.
JR - i didn't want to get too drastic with the tank and do a sump. i want to keep it as simple as possible but for the skimmer minus well go with a known good skimmer and make the needed modifications to the canopy.
i'd like to display price list for myself and those looking to see price cost comparison or even to show much the hobby cost.
biocube29 - 200$ (oscar from njreefers)
