    sorry if i sound stupid but when you guys go to these locations. how are you catching them? i saw one person saying seine net 50ft. so your just throwing your net down hoping your going to catch something? extremely interested and don't want to get disappointed going down there not properly...

    i was always considering doing the member thing but for up north members it wouldn't be as useful. all vendors are down central/south. take travel time + gas prices + mileage on car(evo) = 15+% discount on buying from local store(approximately 1 mi away).

    yeah i have seen those type of setups but those type of skimmers like BK etc would be WELL over the price range i would be willing to pay for a skimmer on a nano. I'll see what the overall consensus of skimmer on the bc29 is. I haven't found a good thread with discussion of a great skimmer...

    JR - i didn't want to get too drastic with the tank and do a sump. i want to keep it as simple as possible but for the skimmer minus well go with a known good skimmer and make the needed modifications to the canopy.
