Still working on the RO/DI setup. Have a booster pump (Aquatec 8800) on the way. I think I've spent more money trying to make water than on my 180 gallon tank...:)
I will need to pump my RO water, after it loses its Co2 by sitting and bubbling back to the booster pump through the DI. Since it...
I did a search and found a thread on it from 2006, stating:

This is something that I have been doing quite a bit of research on and to be honest am pretty excited to start it...
I'm trying to work out my RO/DI salt mixing station design. I'm using two 32g Brutes side by side and plan on sharing a mixing pump between the two using one inch pvc and ball valves. So I'm looking for recommendation for a decent low watts external pump that can connect to one inch pvc.

I'm seeing tons of true union ball valves, but no true union gate valves, so I guess I buy the unions separate and build the true union gate valve with slip on unions?
In the process of looking at plumbing supplies I have found King Brothers on Amazon at insanely low prices compared to other sites. Just thought I'd share.
Also a question on valves, threaded vs slip, whats the consensus on which way to go?
Thanks downbeach!
Is this tubing the right size and ok for an RO/DI setup. 1/4 inch?
