Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I've peeled them off rocks where the actually tore apart and they still survived. I don't think you will have a issue fragging them with a sharp knife. They will slime alot when you cut them.

I've used Flatworm Exit it works but you have to be careful and follow the instructions, try and siphon out as many as you can before you treat. Have plenty of carbon ready. As soon as you dose they will start to die by the hundreds see if you can siphon them out. Add a lot of carbon...
I just wanted to add my thanks to all the members and a special thanks to Ken for the insight into his coral restoration project. I'd also like to extend a welcome to our 4 newest members. As a member of Conservation Committee I have to say this was Ed's baby, Great job Ed!

I've used the Berghias in the past. Worked like a charm. They are a little expensive (about $25 each). I wasn't able to recover them after the aiptasia were gone.

How old is your substrate and do you have anything that burrows in it? I was fighting cyano caused by the addition of a pistol shrimp that released all the nasties from my sand. I've used Red Slime remover several times with no adverse effects.

You're right I didn't add in the extingusher or the boards. I was counting only the bags that we filled so with the fire ex and the boards probably closer to 80 - 100lbs. Even Better!
