Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
That's really pretty neat! Tha last time I got a free clam (razor type?) it was embedded in a "strawberry sponge" I bought. I was told the sponge was hardy (it wasn't) but the clam lasted quite a while longer.
If you want to keep it going, you might try dosing some algae like Nannochloropsis...
And, for all of those of you who are actually interested in Guppies, check this out:

You've never seen a guppy like the above ref, at least I havn't/.
In all fairness, I really can't tout this overflow. I think this model and also all the subsequent CPR models are just "an accident waiting to happen". I think you'd be far better off drilling a hole in the tank and creating a more DIY failure resistant overflow. But, if you still want it...
I've got an old-style overflow box that pre-dates the more popular CPR units. It uses a large U-tube.
I've also got a Chinese black box LED like those sold on eBay. It has some salt encrusting, but worked the last time I had it plugged in. The Chinese black boxes are billed as 165W but are...
True. The site offering them also has SW Mollies in black, silver, red, yada, yada. I'm considering ordering a trio of black ones for my observation tank. They can reportedly be an early warning for ich or velvet, as both diseases show up better on black than the other Molly colors.
Has anyone ever kept Saltwater Guppies? If so, are they hardy and do they reproduce in saltwater? I didn't know this is doable...

Salgado Update
Juan and Cynthia have moved to Texas and have taken their marine fish business with them. Their website has not changed, and they are shipping from Texas.
I miss my trips to Thornwood. I paid $85 for my Harlequin Tusk. I paid $85 for my PNG Gold Nugget Wrasse. I paid $65 for...
Worst I can say, was for a pygmy angel (African Flame-back?), I once had. It took a dislike to my (expensive) Galba Damselfish and harassed it mercilessly until it was no more. Adios $150 Galba!
It seems to me that there's a disconnect in our forums between our meetings and our members who actually plan to attend.
If you plan to attend the above meeting, in Lakewood at the MadReefer's , please post your intention here...
