Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Thirty-five something years ago my two Engineer Gobies tried to kill a really nice blue carpet anemone by covering it with sand. While I do admit that I love Fridmani Dottybacks, I strongly suspect that it is trying to kill the coral it is covering ~ perhaps it had been previously stung by it...
Hmmm... are your "rakes" actually long algae scrapers? I find I periodically need to level the sand in my DT, and I've been using some of wifey's* kitchen utensils. But, I actually already have two long scrapers (duh)! Thanks you for nudging my aging brain...

I really like the idea! But, November might be a little chilly for frags ~ we'd have to provide electricity for people to heat their frag tanks with. Maybe we have a member who could us lend us a generator for such an event? (Or, maybe Global Warming could accelerate and see us through...)...
The photos show some sort of black thingy under each drum on the lower level. What is it? Is it some sort of wheelie device for the drum?
Caveat for any fellow NJRC Scavengers...
The clips on the drums are for clamping the tops onto the drums. They are metal, and they will eventually rust...

Also, has anyone seen their quarantine...

Came across this today. It immediately occurred to me that a fragger, or someone checking for small nasties, or someone doing maintenance on small parts, (or who knows what else), could use this in their reef toolbox. It might even offer some measure of eye protection for people who mess with...
