Thanks! - not 100% sure but was told it is a purple bonsai type coral. It was from a tank break-down of a former NJRC member (mike napoli). It's the only coral in my tank that did well under LEDs. The frag started with 3 polyps or so maybe a year ago or so.
I placed this on my LR yesterday and thought it had tilted over a little and wanted to set it again - and to my surprise - it was completely locked in. :)
Love it - as always - great healthy and sweet deal. It is a rare clam that looks nice from above AND from the side!

your "criticism" is neither constructive and neither are your bizarre references to clothing. I don't know why you feel it so vital to attack people. It really does no purpose other than possibly to drive people away from looking for help on this...

the other option would be to see if the fish can fight it off themselves by improving nutrition/food and increasing...
I know most of you probably already do this - but I just adjusted a feature on my profile and I think it makes the board much easier to read.
Basically i'm on here so much that typically when a thread is updated - I really just want to read the last post. up until recently, I'd have to click...
i read today that woods hole research (on the exaggerated far scale) said that it *could* be up to one million gallons a day. That would be about 107 million gallons already. In comparison - Valdez was 11 million gallons.
I had him for almost two years and he never did this before. He is now in a "depression" in the sandbed on the left side...lying there. Almost neurotic like.
yeah - i really love my jawfish - they are so much fun. But maybe this is nature's way of telling me not to mix atlantic species fish with pacific species... (i'm joking).
Thanks for the lead-in segue Jim!!!
