10g Freshwater planted tank

10g freshwater with contemporary metal stand. Includes 4 neons, 2 hatchets, 1 ghost shrimp, 2 snails, food, filter, a few pads, hood with lights, heater, plants, driftwood, air pump, bubbler tube, CO2, plant food, water treatment, blah, blah, blah.

So, its complete. It's not one of those competitiion tanks, Its just a nice tank with plants and driftwood.
Its been very, very stable for about 2 years, haven't lost a fish, haven't had a spot of algae.

Giving up because the stand is about 3' high, and with the small footprint, and a new floor crawler on the way, the image of it being used as a 'help me stand up device' and having it topple is a bit too much.

Easy maintenance. Light vacuum every 2 weeks or so with a hood wipedown and 10% water change (treated tap (bottle of treatment included)). The snails and shrimp act as a great CUC. I've left it for 10 days plus with a plug in timer for lights and a feeder and came back to a spotless tank with happy inhabitants.

Would be a great tank for young kids or a small room.

So, as sad as it is to part with it, its available for pickup in Brick.

I'll post a few shots of it tonight.

It's free, but if you feel guilty and want to bring a zoa of softie frag I wouldn't be opposed ;)

Anyways, lemme know.

Hey all,

Here's a few shots of the tank. One of the flourescents is out and I've got a yellow bulb in there atm.
Second shot gives a size comparison v a 4yo.

Got a proper fish count as well. 4 neons, 1 hatchet, 1catfish, 1 ghost shrimp, 2 freshwater nerite snails (happy enough to have laid eggs).

As said, free, all inclusive (stand alone was $90), lemme know. If no-one here replies within the week I'm going to offer it up at work.

Cheers,
M

Nice tank but I'm pretty sure that is a harlaquin rasbora not a hatchet. I have them in my freshwater tank too. Would love to take this off your hands but I'm moving mid August.

I sent my son a message, he has been looking for somthing for my grand son, so I might be interested. I'll let you know asap.

He said he will take it. I just fragged a hammer if you would like a frag of it. He can pickup this weekend. What ever is good you you. Thanks!
