120g Wall Unit - Now Complete

This link should take you to an album of photos of the construction of the wall unit I built for my 120g tank.

The unit is made of pine and stained with Minwax English Chestnut. I used 5-6 coats of a gloss polyurethane as the finish. The tank is a Perfecto glass tank that measures 60"Lx18"Wx26"H. The overall dimensions of the wall unit are 102"Lx22"Wx80"H.

Thanks to everyone on the various forums that gave me advice and help me and answered my questions about what equipment to get. On this forum, a special thanks to Steve68 for all is advice and help with my sump and moving the tank and cabinet into the house.

I have seen this stand in person and it is awesome. Mike, I told my husband about this stand and he just rolled his eyes and said no more projects!!!

Thanks for the mushroom, it looks great. See you on the 30th.

Re: 120g Wall Unit

holy cow that IS a sweet stand and setup. Looking forward to it being completely setup.

With a stand that nice, the pressue is on to have an oustanding tank or no one will notice it!

And from the looks of it the tank is well on it's way to outstanding! ;D

All right, my next stand isn't gonna be black like it is now. I'm thinking dark cherry or red mahogany coz of you!

Awesome!
