So when is the new floor going in so you can fill this with water ! ;D

Very sooon i hope ;D. Waiting for the floor to be done. I'm still missing light, and the plubming is half way through. I want it to get it done but i must do it slowly, i can't mess up again this time. If I do, i'll be done with reefing....hahhahhaha!!! More pics later today. ;)

Well, it's about time for some update. ;D

I finally got around plumbing the sump.....after several leaking attempts i hope it's good now.

Here's my plumbing.
I'm using a pan world 150 pressure rated pump for return and run two phosban reactor. Currently running right now with freshwater to see if theres any leak. Crossing my finger, hopefully i don't have to play with cutting and glueing pvc anymore.

Here's a picture of the tank....just had the stand stained. Love the height of the stand now, great clearance to work with plumbing and roommie ;D

Well, ordered Geiseman infinity light and they are finally here after some screw up. The fixture were suppose to come with bulbs but weren't so i had to call up the place and tell them to send me my bulbs, the bulb got here yesterday and here's the pic. I'll be running with a megachrom blue DE MH bulb and 4 t5.

Nice build. How is the light spread on the tank with that light fixture?

Ricwilli,

The coverage is actually pretty good, better than I expected. It's built very nicely, just a little pain in the behind when you have to take down the fixture and change bulbs.

I put a couple 1x3s across the tank when I take my light down to change the bulbs. They stay in the parts room for immediate use so I don't have to go searching for them.

that's a great idea. I think i'll do the same thing the next time i have to take down the tank. Thanks!

I finally got all live stock move into the 150g. a bite tire and don't have my regular camera with me. will update with some more pictures another time.

The change over from 180g to the 150g is been a week and i have two casulty already. This sucks. two fish went sky diving and dried up.

I might have to cover up the tank top with acrylic and drill some holes for oxygen exchange....oh well.....

Here's one of them ;(

it might just be that they are nervous in the new enviroment?

anyways i 100% love this tank, maybe this is my next upgrade. keep the pictures coming.

THAT IS SWEET!!! Fantastic job. The sump looks like an arcade 8). Does the stand eventually get sides? Can we get a couple close ups of the inhabitants?
