2011 Meeting Schedule

Well, I just realized that with the website fiasco of losing a year's worth of posts that we also lost the meeting schedule for this year.

I took the liberty to search Google Cache to find this year's meeting schedule, and will post it below. Note that I don't know if this is still valid with everything going on... but I figured at the very least it will give the mods something to reference when creating a new schedule announcement. This was a post started by Taz...

Well as 2010 winds down many of us can look back at the great food, great times and laughter we had at the meetings this year. Without the wonderful hosts and families that eagerly open their houses to the club for our monthly meetings, we would be scrambling all the time wondering where and when the next meeting will be. I would like to Thank ALL who have opened their houses up to us this year.

It is now time to start collecting names of those who are willing to host a meeting during the very soon to be 2011 year! If you would like to volunteer to do so, please post below so we can start putting a schedule together. Please remember that we try to maintain a geographical rotation (north,central,south) to try to keep travel fair for all club members. Please post your location when volunteering. In the event of a month with no volunteer in that area, we may substitute a hosting location in another area.

You do not need a huge house, a huge tank or even have a tank at all to host a meeting. All you need is to be willing to open your home to a great group of people and have a fun time while doing so. Certain regions tend to fill up quickly so reserve your month now!

Apparently, this month's meeting is going to be at David's (malulu's) house, so I guess the old schedule wasn't correct or it was changed.

Can a mod or BOD rep comment on the remaining schedule?

this is a last minute changed on the June schedule.
the remaining probably be the same, will wait for BOD to confirm.

This was a last minute change that literally happened yesterday. We should be on schedule for the rest, I will post the official schedule when I get a chance. Sorry for any confusion

The links are weird, and actually were worse. One path says Saturday the 25th, 2011 and another path says Saturday the 26th, 2010. The latter won't allow you to register. Pretty sloppy web design...

Wow Bob, we're struggling to get this thing rebuilt while keeping tons of spammers at bay. You think maybe you could cut us a bit of break.

Bob, We all must be careful when looking at these threads....when we brought the site back up it was from a backup that was almost exactly a year old. If you look at the thread for the Sat the 26th you will see that the date of that thread is 2010. I unstickied it so it would fade off and not confuse people, but it was probably too late. If you find any other conflicts now please let us know. We are human and putting in more time and effort than most people want to hear about to bring us closer to where we were when we lost the server. Not only are we prioritizing things, there is so much to do we are bound to miss something...Bear with us


Also when we brought the site back up the RSVP page was for June 26. 2010 UNFORTUNATELY we had a hard time getting rid of that info and updating it to current. I can see how it was confusing, but again, we are working on it voluntarily.
