40 Breeder with Broken Bottom Frame

Somebody offered me a 40 breeder with a missing corner piece from the bottom frame for me to use it for my sump/refugium, glass is ok and the silicone is ok too.... now my question is can I switch the top frame and glue it at the bottom and use it without top frame?....will the baffle help with the pressure?

Not sure on that but petco is currently or will be soon doing $1 per gallon sale. I hardly work there anymore and ive been off for finals so i am not sure when but I know if its not happening now then it will within the week. Might be easier to just get a new one
