My guess is you will get a big response from the regulars on that price. Wouldn't surprise me if you got orders for 20 or so..

I am sensing a "Group Buy" here ::)

Good question on the lids. If they have snap down lids we'll take 4 of them. Even better if we can get dollys for them.

If it was possible to do a large group buy for people intersted, I would be able to get the use of a large Uhaul Rental truck for a day and and we could pick them up from your company (all we would have to do is cover the Gas for the truck) Then it's a case of the NORTH CENTRAL and SOUTH drop off points ..... wait I am getting way to far ahead.

I don't think so Phil. I think we're going to need it. That great you can do this!

Good one Phyl, Is their DOLLYS available for them? If so how much for the 55s?

Carlo

PS Phyl, I know we need water storage for the swap. Maybe we could use some of these and then sell them afterwards - or borrow from those buying these. I could lend the ones I'm going to buy to the club if needed if they have the right lids. 4 I'd think from me could be loaned.

They are closed top with 2 bungs...screw in...before everyone gets carried away lemme see if my boss is going to put a "limit" on how many I can get..I would hate to see more than he will let me buy...(he is a real weird guy like that)

well its only going to help him get an idea, of how many is available.. and if you don't post, then someone else might get ahead of you.. so i think that is why the posts are building up :) no harm no foul, if he gets them, thats great, if he doesn't off shopping again for more :D

I just want to make sure everyone realizes these drums have SEALED TOPS with two small screw-in plugs in them. There is no taking the top off. They may be good for transporting water but I don't think they'll be so good for mixing salt, as I don't think you'd be able to get a mixing pump into it.

Do you know how big the bung holes are?

I can't answer for these specifically but I do see a hundred different drums roll through my company every day. None of the ones I've seen have bung holes any bigger than a ~2.5" diameter.

These could be different. I'd be interested in the answer, too.
