55 to 75 upgrade

I feed a cube of "all in one" (forgot brand) and a cube of Mysis (same brand) every two days now. ReefCleaners get awesome reviews due to the fact that they always give more than what you order. I do see in reviews that they don't do that with the hermits though. I also don't know if they do that for JUST the ones that order the "package" or not.

Might not be such a bad idea, do you have to be a legit NJRC member to do it? If so, when does the group buy thing happen because my next paycheck isn't for two weeks. Fortunately, it's direct deposit so I'll have it on my card the day of.

I believe you have to be a paid member to participate in the group buys. I'm not sure when it is going to happen though. I'd pay the membership fee, it's only $20 for a year.

You do have to be a paid member to participate in group buys. Single membership is 12.67 a year while family membership is 18.85. It pretty much pays for itself in group buys and discounts at LFS.

Thank you Paul. I forgot I got the family membership, either way it certainly pays for itself.

Couple Pics

I picked up this wellso at the swap. This is the first night I saw his feeders out. I had to give him a little late night snack.

Very nice pictures! What camera/lens are you using?

Always liked the open brains….have three of them. By the way Wellsophyllia is no longer….they discovered that they are actually Trachyphyllia geoffroyi. HERE’s an article that touches on it.

Thank you. I have a Nikon L120, I had some money saved up for a better camera but I upgraded tanks instead...
I made the right choice

I am always confused about the names of brain corals, I'm glad they eliminated a species...
Thanks for the link!

Back from the meeting

I'm back from the meeting and my snails and corals are in the tank. I did pretty good today. I went with the mindset of one coral but my wife took over and we bought four. I love my wife.

These rics aren't fully opened up yet, but I'm anxious to share.

The colors you see in the pic are pretty dead-on how they look in real life.

I want to stay away from green but these shrooms are pretty sweet. A deep forest green.

I also took a gamble on some pulsing xenia. I really like the look of xenia but have read too many stories about them taking over. I Think I have them isolated enough to stay in their place, assuming they do well in my tank.
