Tank is not drilled, but I have 1 1/2' drill bit from glass holes kit, which can add to this for free, so you could try to drill it.
As far as I know only bottom is tempered, back walls are not.
Bottom frame has couple small cracks that never increased in 2 years, so I think they are safe.
Glass has some scratches inside, which I did not see when tank had water, but now when it's dry I can see them.
Nice thing about this tank - front glass act as magnifying glass, so all looks bigger inside.
