Tank is up and running just need to set up the sump/fuge but got my pump running and flowing water through the sump. My return pump is unbelievably quite but currently only running it at 50% still need to hookup the reactors and UV filter but my manifold will make that easy. Not to mention I don’t need them yet. I need a new usb cord so I can setup and program the lights but other then that I’m ready to rock and roll.

Well tanks been running full bore just over a week also had the tank running without the sump for a week before that auto top of is now setup cleaned up all the electrical been messing around with the skimmer just need to build a stand for it. And lower my lights a few inches.
So being the most inpatient person ever I picked up these little guys. Just to have something swimming around. I’ve been checking parameters just about every day and everything has been looking good. 2 tiny chromis I will most likely get rid of when things get rolling.looking good bro [emoji1303]

Sorry I've been slacking on keeping up with the progress of my tank the camera on my iPhone stopped working and I've been crazy busy but here are some updates. So I guess the chromes were to small for the plus I had slightly to much flow. The poor little guys both got sucked into one of the powerheads. There was this crazy area of turbulence in the one corner of my tank and they would swim into it having a hard time getting out well I adjusted after the first one went but just not good enough. On a much happier and more satisfying note let's talk my tank. Well after stuffing all my filtration and electrical under my tank I have no storage so I built a drop down cabinet for above my tank. I went with the drop down so if I'm digging through the cabinet and knock something out it will roll down the door and on the floor not dropping into my tank. I also made screen tops for the tank with the BRS DIY kits (very nice and came with enough screen to make about 8 tops for my tank plus the tool and everything else). I've add three fish and a clean up crew my fish consist of a powder brown tang, yellow tang, and a half black angle(which if anyone is interested they can have I love the fish coloring is really nice just not my guy after I red the eat coral). I have also added a few softy frags.
I have also cleaned up my RO/DI system. I know have it hooked up and ready to run on demand no more dragging the hose over babysitting the reservoir and hoping I don't fall asleep and flood my garage again. I built a stand for and hook a valve to the bottom of my reservoir so all I have to do is slide my bucket over open the valve and let her rip. My next phase with the RO system is to run a line from the garage to my ATO reservoir so I have once less worry and one less bucket to carry across the house.
I try and get pics of the fish one of these days soon!

I actually cheated I picked it up from amazon and just modified it a bit
So yesterday I picked up a pair of mocha clowns and a colony of green mushrooms with a leather coral on the same rock put them in the tank last night. Well came home from work today the couple of mushrooms I had already looked amazing the rock I picked from acc I can’t even see anymore it looks better now than it did in the store every coral in my tank has expanded 3 or 5 times the size it has been and idk why. Definitely not complaining that’s for sure. I’m trying to figure out how to take pics with my phone but they don’t come out very well.
Lol we did meet I was the good lookin guy who you talked to about the price of the coral pro salt. Lol which I did end up getting a bucket It was like 45$ or so.
I love clowns. Nice price on the salt. I was suppose to purchase some too and forgot.
I am bad at remembering names but never forget a face. I do remember you! Hope to bump into you at one of our monthly meetings!
Well here’s an update on the tank!! It’s doing really well except for the mishap with the yellow tang. Today I upgraded the lights from 2 xr15s to 2- xr30s. I’ve added a bunch of different soft coral and 1 lps who has been in the tank 2 weeks and seems to be kicking butt. Here’s a pic with the new lights I’ll post another tomorrow with the lights on.
