Acro Crabs come in a wide array or colors.
The darker/hairy ones tend to turn into problem crabs in the future.

At that size, if it is an acro crab its probably full size. As I said they can come in a wide array of colors, yes even dark ones. It is the hairy ones that are worrisome. Like Mike stated above if it has the black tip claws or hair then i would lose it. I have also read, and I could be wrong, acro crabs do in fact need to live their life in the symbiotic relationship or they don't actually live their life.
You don't have to much in the way of rockwork so if it does become a problem it shouldn't be to hard to get out.
Ime.this is true. I had two who I captured from sps skeltons when all my sps died and placed them in my frag tank. They are gone now. There were no predators
