Acrylic Rods for rock work?

I have. The acrylic can even be heated and bent to shift angles. Get a good carbide bit. Depending on how large the pieces are and how much rigidity you want to acquire determines the rod thickness.

If you want it to be a bit more sturdy you can use fiberglass rods from the hardware store. Cut to size and drill into the rocks. They won’t break.
