You can find scrap pieces from facebook and other platforms for a decent price, but they usually want to sell the bunch and the sizes might not be convenient.

Looking for two 24"x 24" sheets of black- maybe 3- 1/8 inch- on amazon are around $30 per sheet

I happen to have a 6 ' x 2' x 1/8" thick peice of black acrylic that was used as the background on the 180 i picked up. It's a bit dirty and has some old velcro that would need to be removed and the old paperbacking that would also need to be removed but its ours if you like.

Theres a place right up by Absolutely Fish. I think it's called Acme plastics. You can order whatever you want cut to size off their website and either have it shipped or pick it up yourself. I used them when I wanted to make a shelf for my algae scrubber. They are about a mile off Rt. 46 . let me do some sniffing around to get the exact address.

sure if it make the date it is yours .

Look on the net (or in that ancient yellow book thing) for local companies that either make or rent out displays for trade shows.
Give em a call and ask if they have any old large displays or scrap you can haul away or buy cheap.
I've scored loads like that in the past.
