Hi all~

I left the hobby in 2016 after I went on vacation for 2 weeks. For weeks before my trip I dialed everything in, made sure everything was on spot~ Then murphy's law hit.
Lost all my fish and corals that I had from when they were babies and 1/2" frags.

Told myself i'm never coming back, but then last year a buddy of mine stopped by with a frag tank he had just picked up. After I saw that tank, I got sucked right back in.
And here's where we are now:

Equipment:
Tank: Waterbox Infinia Frag 155.5 (60x24x16)
Light: 48" ATI 6 bulb powermodule (4 blue plus, 1 coral plus, 1 purple plus)
Return: Ecotech Vectra. (Ran a SICCE SDC 9.0, but the power was way too strong)
Wave Pumps: 2 Ecotech Vortech mp40
Skimmer: Bubble king mini 160
Controller: Apex AP3
Dosing: Neptune DOS
ATO: Tunze ATO 3155
Heater: 2 x BRS titanium 300 watt heaters
Sand: Tropic Marin reefflakes
Salt: Tropic Marin Pro --- I love the salt, but the alk is slightly low.
Rock: 100lbs of live rock from kpaquatics

The tank has been setup since last November. The rock I had curing since Last July.

I ordered all of my fish from Dr Reef. It was just easier for me to have someone quarantine and treat. I do have a quarantine setup if I do bring in any fish from elsewhere:
Fish List:
- Pair of Superstorm Picasso clownfish
- 3 Resplendent Anthias
- 2 springer damsels
- Rainbow Basslet
- Linneatus Wrasse
- Golden Rhomboidal Wrasse
- Purple Tang
- Yellow Tang
- WhiteTail BristleTooth Tang

Right now all the fish are fairly small. The tangs are about the size of a quarter.

Corals: I will be aiming for mixed reef, but heavy on the sps.

I ran some test sps pieces back in January just to see how they would do.
I used a crazy t, jf beach bum, rr pink floyd, jf fox flame as test pieces.

They were BROWN, but took only a couple weeks for the colors to came out. After that I went a little crazy.

Have about 20 sps frags at the moment and the colors have started to really come out.

Attached a picture of one of the first pieces I got when I came back:

How long did your order form Dr. Reef take?

That is an awesome mushroom.
The first order I placed on December 17th and received the order second week of february. Then the second order I placed the same day I received my first order I believe February 13th. Just received last week.

Welcome back. Love the tank dimensions. Contemplating a new build myself but haven't made a decision on the set up yet.

With Dr. Reef, it can just take longer depending on what your order. If he has it in stock, in can be quick but others he has to order so that takes time and then he fully quarantines it so it can take months. I have not pulled the trigger with him, but it is intriguing to have fully QTed fish and not have to worry.
