Not really a tree hugger but a realist but trajectory is looking too good for the coral reefs. And seeing how fast bleaching can wipe out a tank I have no doubt about the 35 years claim.
The big reason for the demise of coral reefs are 1. temperature rise; 2. acidification of the ocean water. Make me wonder why in my tank I have both however corals seem to be doing just fine. The CO2 concentration in our home aquariums are much higher than in the ocean.
