i've been using it on the frag system since I don't have a high volume of corals like I use to. been on it for about a year or so. works well but will eventually go back to my calrx once demand goes back up. I like it a lot though, great stuff to keep things basic.

Still having low ALK issues.
I picked up Salifert Alk kit and it tested at 7; Hanna tested at 7.1.
Past few days adding Reef Builder at very low dose.
The AFR rising tube crystallized at the tube end; I have to clear it daily.
I am using the tube that came with doser.
How do I prevent this build up in the tube?

not sure if this was mentioned but how many times a day are you dosing? can you cut up your dosage to smaller frequent dosing to help keep the fluid in the lines moving and prevent crystallization

I have it scheduled to dose 12x daily which is the max limit allowed.

Example: 12ml daily total dose
will dispense 1ml every hour

I dose AFR and it does not crystalize for me. is the area where you are dosing getting any type of salt splash, creep happening?

The doser is under my stand above the sump. So I would assume some moisture.

hey guys I started dosing all for reef few weeks ago. Now I see that my tube is clogging after a while (output). I mean the solution cannot flow and drip into the water anymore. How do you guys avoid that?

My ATO tube is wider than my doser tubing so will see what I can figure out.
I believe Diana posted similar info.

I usually wait 24 hours. I was told something must metabolize it first.

Noticed the dosing container holding AFR is starting to form crystals. Its an open container and think I need to get a closed one.

Have to say not happy with the powder. Just made my last batch and not mixing well at all and did it overnight with a magnetic stirrer.
I will be looking into using something else maybe SeaChem. will stick with liquids and no more powders.
