I am a big zombie flick fan and I think the show is fantastic. Well acted, well scripted (kind of) and tons of suspense. The season premiere was awesome.
Its a show that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world with flesh eating zombies chasing after the characters!! Take it for what it is, pure entertainment. You expect them to make smart, concise decisions in those conditions??? LOL...

LOL. I liked the first few episodes. let me just say a few things that shook me as wrong.
Example: 2 zombies are chasing you.
Your choices are:
1) Run around the cars where the rest of living humanity is and perhaps hide with your mom
2) run away from all the humans and into the woods
yes...guess which option she picks?
Original season 1 show:
You drive by countless cars disabled/dead people.
You apparently do not know how to read your gas gauge as your police car runs out of gas.
Your choices are:
1) try and use an abandoned car or maybe look for gas to fuel your police cruiser
2) find a horse on a farm and ride the horse because you think zombies only eat people - not horses.
guess which option this sheriff picks?
I like the show - but I don't like how the writers contrive these stupid scenarios just to get the people in trouble. Its like the standard Star trek show - they beam down, the guy in the red shirt is dead meat. It's 2011 - is there no creativity anymore??

Darren,Im with you I like the show and look forward to this Sunday at 9(?) and in HD this should really creep my wife and son out..lol
It is a horror show. like all horror shows, and movies if the people made smart choices there would be no story. It's AWESOME. If your into these type of shows and movies. They have great detail in the gore effects. The acting is actualy pretty good.

I have been meaning to watch this but forgot all about it. Guess I have to start from the beginning; but it reminds me a book I read a few years ago. The title was "Soulless" and this show pretty much captures the zombie affect just different plot line.

that SNL video was funny.
All i want to say is the show should have LESS talking and more Zombies. A couple more scenes of the guy with the crossbow and maybe his missing brother would be nice too.
Finally i know glenn is a major part in the comics but it'd be nice to give him a few lines now and then.
