another DIY kalc reactor

Here's my custom 5-gallon "Reef Crystals" brand kalk reactor with patented carrying handle ;D It goes inline between the R/O unit and the float switch. I'm hoping to get this sealed and pressure tested early next week. The whole thing cost me around $25 including a small pump on a timer to stir the kalk every few days. I fully expect this thing to either leak like a sieve or just blow up and flood my basement ::)

I was hoping I could just unscrew the top to add more powder but even with the gasket the seal isn't water tight so I had to add this screw off cap.

You might be OK Greg because that bucket shouldn't be under pressue.

Good luck (and yes, very creative!).

Greg, is it working? I'm anxious to know so perhaps one day...when you have tons of time on your hands, and if I ask really nicely, and pay you for everything, including labor, perhaps you can make one for me, too? :-\

Greg,
would you please share you plan? I am interested to build one. I am very very very short in cash to buy anything :(
