I'd love to have a swarm of anthias like that. They're great! I haven't managed to keep any anthias longer than 18mo though, sadly. :(

18 months?? Why is that?? Are they hard to keep?? I was thinking about getting 3 Fiji Lyretail Anthias...1 male, 2 females.

I was looking at putting a small harem in my 210 when it's up and running. But if Phyl can't keep em alive, I may have to think twice!

They really require many small meals over the course of the day (2-3). And when my harem died they all died within 2-3 days of each other. It was weird.

LOL The german guy is guessing you're Dutch.

I tried keeping anthias for years and then gave up. They just dieing no matter how much I feed them.

That tank is insane! Anthias are tricky, I have 3- sq backs for about 6 months now they grew huge already. Nice fish, eat like pigs

i had 5 lyretails and 3 bartletts, they were good for about a year or so just eating one meal a day. then one died, then another, then another. once the pack was a little thin, my purple psuedo started in the rest. when every there was food in the tank the psuedo would attack any anthia then attempted to eat. keep them trapped in a cave.
