Any Apex users on here?

Thinking about getting one. Want some opinions on it.

Yes, I wouldn't be able to have a reef tank w/o one.
In my inventory:
3 EB8s,
1 EB4
2 breakout boxes
Feeder
Water sensor
Just ordered a doser
PH probes / and temp for each tank (DT, frag, QT)

I have one, but it's not in use. I'm running Tunze on the DT. Once you get the fundamentals of the programming, most things are pretty simple.

My Apex runs the world. Love it.

Apex here as well. It handles pretty much everything. Ever since apex fusion came around it has made it pretty much dummy proof to program as well.

It's a nice to have item for me. I have one it does all the little things for me. But my lights and powerheads are running on their own controllers so the only timer function I use from the Apex is to run the dosers. But then again all these little things it does are very nice to have.

Same here - Lights and powerheads on it's own.

I have automated:
- the making of RO/DI with 2 float switches used as a latch switch
- filling of my 2 gallon ATO
- all the safety items to hopefully prevent floods (under sump, Under the DT and above the overflow and by the RO/DI holding tanks)
- and automated the feeding into the sump with delivery to the DT using the main return pump
- Calcium reactor - Co2 pump
- all the heaters

Float valve for Davey Jones
Temperature emergencies (help I am too hot turn off lights, heaters, email, sound alarms)
Power emergencies: Power off everything but 1 return pump and the MP40s.

Have an Apex jr with pm1. Use it to control heaters (2) monitor temp and ph. Use their Fusion web based program and can monitor from my phone. Customer service was top notch...

Apex with 2 eb8 breakout box ph and temp probes. I control all phases of the tank through it, it was one of the greatest investment in the system.
