Any plumbers?

I am in need of a plumber, our tub/shower drain is clogged and I for the life of me cannot get it unclogged.

I tried using a snake to get the blockage out with no luck and also tried draino/other products to remove it.

Anyone on here a plumber? I'm in 07006 or does anyone know what a plumber would charge to unclog a single drain?

It’s hair and soap that have formed a waddie in your pipes.


Unscrew that one little screw in the screen covering the drain. Be careful not to drop the screw into the drain. Remove the screen from the drain.

Now unscrew the two screws holding in the stopper level….the one that opens and closes the drain of the tub. Carefully pull out the long rod and stopper mechanism.

Now go to Home Depot and buy what my kids use to call a snot picker…..looks like THIS.



Use the snot picker to pull out the hair waddie. Be prepared to gag and possibly puke while you pull out this long stinky wad of hair and soap.

Put everything back together.


Your now a plumber!
