I read this thread with interest since I soon will be putting a tank in my family room. After research it will cost less than $150 to put two supporting jacks below the tank. So regardless whether the floor can support it its well worth the money just for the ease of mind. Also the benefit is there will be not flexing of the floor which change the leveling after the tank of filled.
