If you have bone cutters, you can try to dig some rock out from under the polyp. An easier approach would be to just cut the cane off that rock and attach to a whole new rock. For more precise rock cutting, score the rock as deep as you can with a diamond wheel in a dremel, you can then use the bone cutters or screw driver / chisel to break the rock along the scores. Those zoo's look more like paly's to me so be very careful as the slime they produce could make you very sick. HTH

Anyone need to borrow a wet saw?
Why yes I do.

Just let me know when you need it Rich. All I ask is you clean it well ;) After fragging the Lobo it was filled with water, coral dust, and alot of slime :-X

I actually have a pineapple/moon-polyp brain about the size of a softball and I want to take a 1.5" +/- ring off the bottom with the lions share being donated to the club. Should be an interesting demo. I think I'll get a full face mask / shield after watching you at Nagel's with that Lobo (which is still doing great by the way!!!!)

If you nudged that candy it would come right off of that rock whole. No fragging necessary. Then just use lock-tite glue to relocate it to another rock.
