Anyone going to the Giants-Bucs game today?

I scored tickets in a box. And on the field passes. I'm bringing my active duty Army nephew. He was been in Afganstain and Iraq three times. He was in a motor cycle accident on 9-11 on the base in NC and broke a bone in his back. Thankfully he did not need surgery and will just be in a brace for a 6 weeks or so at my house.

Ah-ha, that’s why you knew about the pawn shops in North Carolina…..you were in Fayetteville! There you trip over pawn shops, with one after another. I can only guess they are taking advantage of all the servicemen being deployed out of Bragg, or just trying to survive on an E3/E4 salary.

Ed, what a great gesture on your part. I always knew you were a nice guy! This will be a memorable day for your nephew. Enjoy the game.

did you in the stands see when eli got knocked down on the final play...what was the reaction like? or were you guys all euphoric by then and didn't notice?

I did not see it until I got home, did not hear anything until I got home. I was in the men's room when Cruz scored his touchdown, the building was actually shaking a bit.
