Anyone have a REALLLLYYYYY big tank who wants a cool fish?

Trop got in a Bumblebee Grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus).

These suckers get over 8 feet long.

That looks invasive, you might wanna call the Aquarium in Camden.

It looks like a reallly big brackish bumble bee goby thats angry.
 
ya know---i have been thinking bout turning my 20x40 built in pool from freshwater to saltwater---that grouper definitely would be something the neighbors would be talking bout ;D

Well let me figure this out. I’m an oldtimer and we had formulas back in the day. If I remember correctly, that is one inch of fish for each gallon of water. So an eight foot fish (12in/ft x 8ft = 96 inches), would fit in a 96 gallon tank. I’ve got a 125 gallon…..I think I’ll buy this fish. Formulas don’t lie! ;D

Just stick him in between a couple of pieces of live rock and put a powerhead in front of him so he thinks he is going really fast.
