I finally got My aquacontroler APEX and I not as happy about it as I thought I would be
I am upgrading from an aquacontrller 3 and I think this new one is not as intuitive as the previous one.
It took me 5 hours to configure it the same way I had the other one.
Also the web interface lacks a lot of options that are present in the display and is just plain cumbersome to use.

It looks like it can be a great product but I would wait for a couple of firmware updates if anyone is on the fence about buying one

I read somewhere that the RKE has al sorts of realibility issues.
So far performance wise the apex is great and it also has many options that I like,
My main issue with it is that the web front end needs some work

I applied the patch and It fixed a lot of the iisues I had trouble configuring.
