Asking $100.00 for everything pictured and assuming the pm2 module does not work. Controller was up and running with temp probe and display until I sold off the energy bar.

Ok I never use any stuff like this but being I’m gonna do a 180gal build I’m thinking it’s time to go tecky and use some modern day gizmos
So what does all these things do for your tank besides cost money. I’d really appreciate some knowledge from my peeps

Hey Paulie,
So Apex are controllers.
The Aqua Controller connects to the included display, which allows you to select criteria. Basically this is the Brain and Display to manually adjust the brain to do what you want. The Aqua Controller connects to an energy bar. I included a picture of an energy bar 8 port. The orange one is the newer version. The Aqua Controller connects toa temp probe. You can plug in heaters to the energy bar and set parameters for your heater. There are other probes shown that are old/broken, but with the modules you can display real time salinity, ph temp, control lights, control pumps and wave makers, endless possibilities. People use them to do automatic water changes, auto feeders, identify leaks, or changes in flow. Cameras, water level top offs, and with the newer apex controllers you can get the trident which is an automated test system which actually doses what your tank needs. (Somehow). Still new to me.
Hope that helps a bit.
I am still very manual in all my techniques and approach.

Way to much for something your corals can tell you,, I’ve learned to read my tank and have it tell me what’s going on, so far so good
