Is the temp probe fully submersible? The probe rack is taking up a ton of real estate and I'd like to mount my magnetic Frag rock close to where it is

You can, but the wire may become brittle and start cracking so I've heard. Mine is sticking out on the top but gets plenty of splash on it, so far no issues

I'm not familiar with Apex, but if it looks like a pH probe, it is NOT submersible. I have a Reefkeeper which has the option of using a similar type temperature probe....I think they call theirs an I-Probe....but instead I use a thermistor which is fully submersible and lasts forever. It looks like a wire with a little bulb type end to it....covered in plastic.

OK, cool....thanx guys for the info. With the potential of damaging the wire I am going to see where else I can mount this thing
