Appreciation/News

A lot of you know that I have been wanting to upgrade my 55 to something bigger and have been sending me PM's with links to various tanks periodically. I appreciate each and every one. HOWEVER... I now have to reassess the situation.

Last night I found out that my wife and I are expecting!! Probably the milkman's kid. HAHAHAHHA...just kidding. For right now, I think I will have to stick with the 55. :'( At least until the doc confirms tomorrow. I don't think that three different store purchased tests could be wrong though. ;D

Again...thanks to those that have been informing me of some great deals.

Congrats!!! This is easy though, for the shower just request fish tank related gifts. I am sure AO or OGII would allow you to register there. :)

hahaha...thanks. My wife will be the one who gets spoiled, not me. Her, having this planned in her head since she was 15 (now 32), she's already flooding my brain with random (insert Charlie Browns teacher voice here). ;D

Congrats on the new baby news! How very exciting. Babies are more expensive hobbies than even saltwater tanks though so hanging tight with your current tank is probably a smart move!

All the more reason to upgrade!
A: You'll be home more often for awhile because you'll be exhausted & not want to go out
B: If you upgrade you can than keep the kid free ranging in the 55 during winter. Get some hamster fluff & one of those hamster bottles and your set.

Congrats, it's awesome stuff. The first 3 weeks super suck though so you'll definatly want time off to help her. You'd think the kid eating & sleeping would be easy, it's not. My kids 3.5 months old now though and it's really easy since they can't do much.

Ah now your real work begins. Kids are the second hardest hobby. After dogs! HAHAHA

At least you can claim an exemption on your 1040 tax form with a kid...unlike a dog. 8)

Congratulations. Since you won't have time for your tank anymore when can I take it off your hands? ;p

I might have some baby stuff for you later down the road too.

HAHA! thats what you think! My old lady was lettin me add stuff to my tank too (key word being WAS) ... they go into panic mode. she put the kaybash on all my plans. i broke down and sold my 55 gal cichlid tank, 20 long discus tank and a 40 high planted amazon biotype i had going...she didnt make me, but by doing so i was at least able to finish off my nano.. good luck, hope you fare better than me..... but ya know. its all worth it in the long run, children are worth the sacrifice
