Aquascaping

So I just picked up a nice piece of shelf and found the perfect spot for it. It's wedged in pretty good but would like to shore it up by "gluing it" to the other rocks to make sure it doesn't move. I have a torch, hammer, and frogspawn right below it so I want to make sure one of my bulldozers will not not knock it down and push the acans I plan on putting on it into the euphyllias below.

What are some good ways to do this?

Since it is already in the tank, you can use epoxy for them. Just about every store carries it and it will cure under water so you don't have to take the whole thing out.

Any specific type? My luck I'd pick the type that kills everything in my tank!

Epoxy stick.

If you can take the rocks out of the tank momentarily, I'd also drill a hole in each of the two pieces you are joining and insert a plastic rod (piece of plastic clothes hanger). Then put the epoxy around where that rod is located.

HERE is an example from Premium Aquatics.

They are all supposed to be reef safe. I know two little fishes makes one that we have used in the past and boston aqua farms as well.

WATCH your skimmer after epoxying. Depending on how much you use the protein skimmer can go nuts. Rare, but I have seen it happen
