Dave,

I don't think the site he uses allows image linking.

Last night, right after i post it, i can see they are there...
i *think* the links that ken6217 provided is something that will regenerate the images name which will expired few hours or something... so you can't use it for image linking... you have to goto their site to see it.

this is a interesting way to block others to do image linking - cool!! (i like the idea).

Ken, no worry, i will grab your images later tonight, and host it under my account and link it here...
thx

Yes, they are still VHO only. I have let some T5's into the fishroom, just on the frag tank.

The way you prevent the image linking (embedding) is by analyzing the Referer tag in the HTTP request. While it is optional tag, all browsers, I know of, implement it, and you can certainly enforce it and encrypt it from your own application (web site).

I would venture that if this web site indeed does hashing of the images, it is probably done for cacheing purposes rather then for preventing the image linking. Of course I am just guessing, but it makes more sense.

Sorry Brian, geek in me couldn't resist the digression

I wasn't trying to be difficult. I just always have trouble posting pics. I would rather have the pics posted instead.
