I'm on the site .. but I don't know what to buy.

What would I need if I just want one to turn my RO/DI on and off and then one for an auto top off which will be a 10 gallon tank filled with fresh RO/DI water and a maxijet(maybe).

So one it the sump(55gallon tank) and one in the RO/DI holding bin(32 gallon garbage can)

For the RO/DI holding tank I'd use a Kent float switch (available at most places). For the sump, I'd go with the dual float switch from ATO.com.

Last question before I order the Kent ... how do you mount the Kent Float switch to a garbage can?

Just drill a hole in the garbage can put it in! The gaskets will seal the opening but a nice thing is that the way it is designed, the float stops the flow before the water hits the hole.
