What is the rule for sizing of avatars? It keeps telling me it's too big, or not doing anything. I looked for a FAQ and couldn't find anything about avatars.

Hey Jim,

I have mine set to 150 x 156 (pixels) and it's about 7kb. I uploaded it to photobucket and linked it to there. Let me know if that helps you at all.

My guess is the file size is too big to be used for an avatar. Just as well. All of that motion would make me seasick (not to mention the burning question of why you would use someone else (other than SO/children) as your avatar).
