Baby Mushroom from Nowhere?

So I noticed something really weird this morning. About 2 months ago I bought a blue mushroom which detached and died in under 2 weeks. I left the rock it came on in there and during the night one of my crabs or urchins flipped it and guess what I found? An orange mushroom maybe 2mm wide! How is this possible? The original one has been gone for nearly a month and a half and this rock has been face down in the sand for about 3 weeks. I was shocked to see it, especially since it wasnt even similar in color

I took this earlier but am not home currently, heading home now. I can try and get a better one but its really small. Wasn't sure what it was but I can see the little dot for a mouth

These pictures still arent great since I don't have a camera, just a phone. But 99% sure its a mushroom

If you look closely you can spot some kind of pods crawling near it for size comparison.

Thanks. Unfortunately I can't get any more pictures because last night my urchin picked up his rock and the mushroom detached. No biggie though, I much prefer these beautiful new ricordeas :)
