Back from Paradise!

Hey everyone...I just got back from paradise on Saturday afternoon! For those of you that don't know...I got married on October 24th. We then went to the Maldives for our honeymoon! When all of the resorts and advertisements say that the Maldives is the last real paradise on Earth....it is so INCREDIBLY true! What an amazing place both above and below the water!

I have 750 photos and videos to go through, but I quickly edited this video of a two tank dive we did on one day. The water was about 90 at the surface and 85 at 90-feet. Incredibly warm! The reefs were in pretty good condition with soft and hard coral. The fish life was unbelievable. Triggers everywhere, powder blue's the size of dinner plates, blonde naso's the size of footballs with 6-8 inch long streamers, sailfin tangs, blennies, gobies, clowns in anemones and so much more. It was the most fish life I have ever seen in one place at one time!

As I go through all of the photos and videos I will continue posting them here.

We flew Emirates....JFK to DuBai then Dubai to Male, Maldives. So yes...over the Atlantic.

Let me say....Emirates is my new favorite airline! It is a shame that they don't fly domestic routes in the US. The Airbus A380 is a massive plane and very comfortable even in Economy!! And they feed you real meals! Not na at y microwaved cheeseburgers.

Well first congratulations to you and your wife. You are a lucky guy. And looks wonderful need to get home to look at the pictures.

You can't have foreign airlines conduct business in the US (domestic) unless it's a stop-over for fuel. plus the US airline unions would kill whatever politician ever came up with that idea lol.

But i totally get you - the experience with the international flights on foreign airlines are pretty good compared to my experience with say united/continental international.

I don't like to travel out of JFK simply because of the pain in the neck process of getting out there. But you do get more schedules/choices out there than from newark.

wow an a380 sounds like a mini-city. I don't think any US planes fly the boeing equivalent yet (767-800).
